Generational Synergy: Capitalizing on your Multigenerational Workplace

This session will focus on the findings and application of my research and consulting experience in navigating the reality of multigenerational nonprofit organizations. I believe the session relates directly to the theme because there are currently 4-5 generational cohorts in a given nonprofit. There is a necessity to leverage the unique experiences of the generations to ensure a healthy and impactful future within the nonprofit sector.

The key message of the session will be to encourage nonprofit leaders to be sensitive to motivations, encourage mentorship and reverse mentorship, and to expand the understanding of employee/team maintenance.

Additionally, this session will help local nonprofits address employee turnover in emerging adults (Millennials & Gen Z).
