2023 Call for Presenters

The Nonprofit Leaders Conference for Coastal and SW Washington returns on March 24, 2023 to the Ocean Shores Convention Center. Our goal is to provide information and training for area nonprofits, many of which are small and run solely by volunteers in rural communities from Port Angeles to Ilwaco. We focus on being both geographically and programmatically accessible for these community leaders.

The Conference theme for 2023 is “Mission Possible.” We are delighted that longtime nonprofit executive Miriam Barnett will be our keynote speaker for this year’s conference.
The 2023 Conference will address the following topics:
• Communications
• Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
• Finance/Fiscal Management
• Nonprofit Management Nuts and Bolts
• Leadership – board and staff
• Adaptability
• Volunteer Management
All sessions will be 90 minutes in length, including Q&A.

The Conference is committed to affordability for the small organizations it serves and is pleased to have donations and sponsorships which make this possible. The Conference recognizes the importance of paying speakers for their time and expertise and can offer a $250 honoraria. Speakers have the option to forgo the honoraria to support the ongoing work of the Conference. Conference speakers will be provided with hotel accommodation for Thursday night before the Conference and a $50 mileage stipend. All speakers are our guests for the entire conference and are encouraged to attend any of the sessions.
